Japanese Nakiri knives are ideal for slicing fruits and vegetables. It’s a thin knife that works well as an all round kitchen chopper (but not as a cleaver so don’t use it on frozen foods or hard root vegetables).
This knife can be used right or left-handed as it has a 50/50 edge not the traditional Japanese edge which is sharpened only on the right side.
The stainless steel blade is 6.75″ long.
