A Japanese Santoku Knife is a western style, all purpose chef’s knife. The shape is similar to a deba knife but would feel more familiar in the hands of a North American chef than that knife. The holes in the blade prevent meat and vegetables from sticking to the blade.

This knife can be used right or left-handed as it has a 50/50 edge not the traditional Japanese edge which is sharpened only on the right side.

The blade is 6.75″ long. The handle is wood.
