A blue and white noodle bowl, part of the 3 piece kikuzome karakusa series. These blue & white bowls are our most versatile size. Use them at breakfast, lunch and also dinner.
Mix and match these bowls with other blue and white patterns. You can also get the set all with this karakusa (arabesque) design of scrolling vines and a white center with a deep blue flower surrounded by three leaves.
This footed bowl is 6″ in diameter and stands 2.75″ tall.

Japanese Porcelain
The kilns of Arita are the main source for Japanese blue and white porcelain. With an under glaze of cobalt blue and often on a bluish white base these wares are from the Chinese tradition but have distinctive Japanese designs. Arita is also the source of Japanese Imari porcelain.
